Hello all.

So I've been with SBI a little while now and have a site on the go about where I live. It's been a great learning process as I was completely new to anything like this and continue to learn more and more each day.

My current site has reasonably small potential as it is only a very tiny niche, I will continue to plod along with it, but for a while now I have been thinking about starting another site reviewing online casinos.

I know gambling is a very sticky area in general so just wondered if anybody has had any previous experiences with a site of this nature? Or anything kind of gambling related?

Hi Nigel,

I had a gambling related affiliate site up for about 18 months or so.
I was promoting a no-risk betting method, which was sold via Clickbank.

During this time I received around £700 - £800 in affiliate commissions, which I thought wasn't too bad as it was my first real affiliate site.

In fact, as I am struggling with a niche, I was considering trying a similar site here too.

I think there's definitely scope for a site of this nature.

Do you have a personal interest in online gambling? Or are you pursuing the subject from a monetization perspective? IMO it always comes back to what interests you. You are going to be the one spending your most valuable asset on it, time. If you can commit and get excited about writing and researching your niche then go bananas. Sorry for the slow reply, I haven't checked the post for a while.

I agree Kevin I think there is an opportunity to be had with this niche, there are a lot of similar sites already but these are mostly geared up to get sign ups, the information isn't great and a lot of the them in my opinion are written by people who have no interest or experience in what they are writing about.

And just to bring Jimmy's comment into this, I certainly have an interest in this field, I've worked in the gambling industry for a number of years so know a lot about the subject matter, and it does genuinely interest me.

You'll have to let me know Kevin if you decide to go ahead with something related to this topic, I've decided to go for it and have been adding content already. In this for the long haul now, I shall persevere and I will succeed.
