I don't think you need to change anything. But then, I don't upload anything. Do you have a BB2 page? Try dragging the C2 invitation block into, see what happens.

Hi Joel,

Content 2.0 pages fall into four types and two sub-types: invitation pages, and submissions, thank you/comment form pages and standalone comments pages.

Content 2.0 invitation pages are just normal keyword-focus(s)ed content pages (KFCPs), and you convert them from uploaded to BB2 in exactly the same way as you convert any other KFCP. As Jacki suggests, you need to drag the C2 Invitation block onto your page instead of using the ***C2_invitation_nnnnnnn*** tag.

If you've been uploading for some time you may still be using the single general-purpose Content 2.0 utility template sbi-c2-template.html. On the other hand, you may have the more specialised templates listed in Page Manager as C2 Standalone Comments Pages (Uploaded), C2 Submissions Pages (Uploaded) and C2 Thank You / Comment-Form Pages (Uploaded). To convert all of your other Content 2.0 pages from UYOH to BB2 you simply need to delete all of your uploaded Content 2.0 templates.

Your pages will then be rebuilt using the equivalent BB2 templates, C2 Standalone Comments Pages (BB2), C2 Submissions Pages (BB2) and C2 Thank You / Comment-Form Pages (BB2), which you'll find in Page Manager. You'll probably need to edit these templates to your taste before you do this.

Hope this helps,

Hi all,
I'm in the process of converting all my UYOH pages to BB2. Now working on my C2 pages and run into this issue which I couldn't find a solution to (I searched the forum but no luck).
The issue is that my C2 Submissions pages have the submission form at the top of the page that pushes the contend down below the fold. It means that when you click a C2 link to open, you will see the C2 form not the content, unless you scroll down.
Here is what I’m talking about [Domain Private]
I’d like to get rid of the C2 form on the C2 Submission Pages, any advice/direction is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Duangpy

Hi Duangpy,

If you want content above the form, you just need to pull text/headline blocks above the form and fill them in, or if it is a page you already created, just drag the C2 submission block below the content.

If you get rid of the form entirely (deleting from the page), you will lose the submissions and comments too. You can hide/deactivate the invitation also. See the Help file on how to do this: http://help.sitesell.com/c2/library.htm ... Invitation Remember, Help files are the little question marks

next to items. I found this Help file by viewing the invitation, then clicking the little

All my best,

Hi Debs,
I'm sorry I didn't make it clear.
I don't want to delete the C2 form entirely, but I don't want it to appear on the C2 submitted page.
I don't know how to explain, but this is my C2 form [Domain Private]. Under the form there is a header "What Other Visitors Have Asked/Shared", and under this header there a list of links, and when click you'll get C2 submitted pages.
For example when I click on a link 'Info on border crossing to China from Phongsaly", I get [Domain Private]. This page should have only text that the visitor submitted, but it includes the form on the top. You know what I meant?

Debs, thanks for your help,
I've deactivated the form as advised and the form disappeared as expected, but it is not exactly what I want.

I still want to be able to accept questions, so I need C2 form on this page [Domain Private].
But don't want the form on this page [Domain Private], only question that submitted and answer (comments) should be here.

Here are the example of what I want (if this will help)

Hope I don't confuse you.
Thanks,

Hi Duangpy,

I believe you added the invitation to the submissions page in page manager - you should remove it and build the page - I think it will then display as you want.

Hope that helps,
Bonnie

Hi Bonnie,
Thanks so much for your help.
You're right I added the invitation to the submissions page in page manager. I must have done it while experimenting C2 UYOH to BB2, and forgot about it.
You've saved my day.
Thanks again.

Hi all,

I was reading about what happened to Duangpy, and wondering whether there was any use to this (apart from putting a live Content 2.0 invitation on a submission page, which I wouldn't recommend).

I came up with an idea. I haven't thought too much about it, so I'm not sure how useful it would be, and certainly haven't tried it. However, those who know me will know that I have considerable experience of SBI! in general, and of Content 2.0 in particular, and I believe that it will work.

If you place (as Duangpy did by accident) a deactivated invitation beneath the submission body on your Content 2.0 submission template you will have the ability to link other submissions as further reading. I'm fairly certain that you can customise the submission list heading for that invitation alone, so you could set it to "You may also like" or "You may also be interested in" or something of that nature.

A submission list is unique to a specific invitation instance (i.e. on a specific page), so you should be able to move an accepted submission to that specific page in Content 2.0 Library.

The disadvantage (as with all submissions) is that it follows from the above that you can't get that submission linked by the system from any other invitation page.

Anyway, try it and see.

Regards,
