By the time mobile (smartphone) growth stabilizes, mobile will drive 40%-50%+ of your visitors! This is a tremendous opportunity to build a strong NEW stream of traffic. To maximize that, present a high-quality, highly usable "mobile" version of your site. Optimize for other mobile-specific issues. This forum discusses all that and, more generally, how to maximize this opportunity to grow your e-business income. Oh yes - tablets covered, too.

Hi,

I am reading the instruction on Mobilize It but it's not clear how you can hide content from the mobile view on Block Builder. I understand that some content will need to be recoded (e.g. Nav bar) in order to be seen on mobile devices.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Victor,

You would do that with the Container Block.

Drag a Container Block to the page.

In the toolbar, under "Show This Block on...," choose "Desktops/Tablets."

Drag other Blocks into the Container Block that you want to hide from mobile.

Choose "Mobile devices" to hide content from desktops and tablets.

For Mobilize It! sites, you may want to hide your SBI! horizontal NavBar on mobile devices (i.e. choose "Desktops/tablets" on the Container Block).

Then be sure you add a vertical NavBar hear the top of the Nav Column, inside of a Container Block set for "Mobile devices". This is used when the "Navigation" button is clicked on Mobilize It! sites on a mobile device.

Best regards,
Laura
