This is a note for you if you have completed your HTTPS conversion - or more accurately if you think you probably have, but you're not absolutely 100% sure...
Some SBIers have been reporting traffic drops since converting to HTTPS. Those temporary drops were expected. However, when work has been done by the SBI! Pros to check conversions, it's become clear that not everyone has followed the steps all the way through. And not following all the steps may well lead to traffic losses.
Some of it can seem a bit confusing, particularly the parts around submitting your site to the Search Engines.
So, in order to help, SBI! Pro Paul Buckingham has written a short article complete with an explanatory video, which has a ten-point plan for you to follow just to be absolutely, 100%, rock-solid, completely certain that all the steps you should have taken have actually been done.
You'll find the article at this link.
If you have any problems following along, feel free to come here to ask for help. Also, it would be helpful if you could leave us an indication here that you've done what Paul has called the "10 Step Challenge" to check your site is now completely covered.
Don't leave this to chance - your business could suffer!
PS Actually, even if you think you're 100% sure you've got it all covered, it would be worth taking just a few minutes to read the article and check you've definitely completed all the steps.
