SBI!'s Brainstormer builds an amazing list of keywords. You work with that list in the MKL. Add, find and sort, of course. MKL shines when you use functions such as Seeds, Groups, Filters, Columns, Get Google $. Set up tasks or use pre-defined ones. Discuss keyword profitability, supply and demand.
Caveat: Computers do NOT think. Humans do. Don't become "number-bound." - use human JUDGMENT, too!

Hi Gerald.

I think that the info you might want would be in a sticky I have in the Brainstormer forum:

There is a webinar in #4 that Terri did that I had found very helpful for setting up the various tiers.

Maybe I should move some of that info to the Sticky here as this does also apply to Working With Your MKL....

Let me know if this is a help.

I am looking for the exact same numbers. I've been looking for hours, watching the Action guide and reading threads. I was excited to finally find my exact question but once again the question is not being answered. What are the numbers for T2 and T3. I followed the link and the provided numbers only talk about the T1 homepage.

I also watched Terri's video and still feel confused because she states that Gold 1 is D>100 and S<100 while Gold 2 is D>2000 and S<500... Should I assume that Gold 2 is T2 while Gold 1 is T3? She may have said it and my exhaulted brain missed it. Can some please give the suggested numbers for T2 and T3. I'm tired of looking for it. :|

Also years ago Annelie wrote a detailed overview for finding T2 and T3 numbers that I've been following for years. Has this changed with all the new updates?

Hi Tiffany,

I'm not recognizing the Gold terms. Do you have a link to the video you watched?

I think that this is the one I like that gives examples of T2 and T3 levels.

Terri David Webinar - Keywords, Topics, Blueprint

The thing is that specific numbers are relative to a niche. The specific numbers that would be good for one site might not be good for another, so usually general advice applies.

I keep this note for the Site Concept:

Day 2 > Evaluate Keywords (9:39) 10/16
Demand > 2,000 (preferably >3,000)
2+ Keywords with Demand > 1,000
10+ Keywords With Demand > 100
Supply < 200,000 (sweet spot 20,000 to 60,000)

From there you will have to decide which keywords work best for your T2s and T3s.

Usually the T2s have higher demand and supply, yet you want to aim for a supply that's not too high to win depending on how much time you have. Again a relative formula.

T3s often have much smaller demand and supply. Here, you want to choose the variation that seems the easiest for you to win, if the term makes sense for your site and for the time you have to build your site.

Some rare times you'll find T3s that have better numbers than the T2s, yet according to logic they should be T3s, or vice versa. Terri gave a wonderful example in her bathroom decorating example, if I remember well, where a T2 had had T3 type numbers.

Let me know if the webinar I just linked to is helpful on this issue.

Here are the numbers I've written down a few years ago 8)

* T3: Demand > 250, 500 > Supply > 50

Tomaz (TennisMindGame)
* T2: Demand > 1000, Supply < 1000
* T3: Demand > 500, Supply < 500, never < 300

Annelie (rose-gardening-made-easy)
* T2: Demand > 1000, Supply < 1000
* T3: Demand > 150, Supply < 100

Louann (wedding-flowers-and-reception-ideas)
* T3: Demand > 150, Supply < 1000

These are the numbers I look for too. But, every niche is different. Maybe that's why it's a bit vague.

Thank you for posting Christophe!

Great collection of ideas.

Jacki. I agree, it can be tricky in some niches.Sometimes logic is the best way to decide..
