I'm so lost. I'm in the builder, clicked on Footer and I can't find a way to edit the actual copy in my footer. Can someone point me the way please?

Your footer is in the old Footer Module from BB1. Edit the page in BB2, delete the module and put in your own text, links, etc. the way you want right in a text block you pulled into the Footer Sitewide Dot.

Hi thanks for your reply but I'm sorry I don't understand any of that.

I can't find a Footer Module anywhere. Where is that exactly? All my pages are BB2. Which page do I edit in BB2?

Thank you,

Jason, don't get scared if it comes up with a dire warning - it will most likely be in a site wide dot (or should be).

I am having huge problems with this also. My footer is not in the same spot site wide. It is the BB1 module and I just want to change it from 2017 to 2018. If I build a new footer in sitewide dot on BB2 there will be like 70 duplicate footers in the site. Those footers are where they are because as I was rebuilding all my pages to BB2 I just moved the footer in BB2 page edit into the spot I wanted it. Now I want to change 1 number, and I can't find a way to get to a place to edit that. There must be a way with out creating a ton of duplicates or rebuilding all those pages. HELP

This would be a one time effort, then in subsequent years one click.

If you didn't set up a Reusable Block to hold your footer info, you have to edit one page at a time.

However, I recommend you figure out what you want in the Reusable Block for all pages, and pick one spot for it (end of content is a good place). Then go to each page and delete the individual footer stuff you put in, except for the home page. Rebuild each page to save.

Then on the home page, edit the footer info to show what you want, move it into a sitewide dot at the end of the page.

If you really want to place individually on each page, then click on the block icon in the page for the footer info to turn it into a Reusable Block.

Then on each individual page, add the Reusable Block exactly where you want it to appear.

In both methods, anytime you want to edit the footer, you only have one Sitewide Dot to edit; or one Reusable Block and it will update on all pages.

Now keep in mind if you use the RB method, you will want to remember to add that RB to each new page you create.

Hope this helps,
