Hi anyone who can help!

I have just opened a mailchimp account and set up a list. I used my new email account that is set up with SBI, [Domain Private]">becca@[Domain Private]. Mailchimp wanted the email to be verified, and that seemed to go OK. But then they wanted it to be authenticated too.

So I copied and pasted the code that they offered under this heading:
SPF: Create a TXT record for [Domain Private] with:
I pasted it into MX It! and got this message:

Your MX record has been changed to...
Primary mail exchange webmail2.sitebuildit.com.

The message said that it would take 24/48 hours to update.

My question is this. Did I do everything right? I really have no idea what I have actually done..... Feeling worried.....

If you only had to confirm an SPF record, then you probably did it correctly. It's hard to know exactly without seeing the help instructions though.
