Hi Stephen,

Solo Build It! does not yet support .life domain names. It only supports domains with these extensions (at this time)...

.com
.org
.net
.info
.co.uk
.org.uk
.ca

You can transfer a domain to Solo Build It! but it would have to have one of the supported extensions and not be within the 60 day period after purchase or renewal.

Hope this helps!

Hi Stephen

The thing to do is build the site with a .com address - or whichever one you prefer that is available and, if you can get .life somewhere else, forward any traffic from that address to the main site.

I will say this about .life but this is my personal experience only. It is one of the dozen or so top domains that I have automatically set to automatically delete as it generates an awful lot of spam. The others include .ru, .ni, .email, .club, .us.

Someone else may have more experience about domains such as this although I recall seeing Ken mention recently that some of them had been trashed by the spam farms. So -again - this is my personal opinion - I would be hesitant about relying on it as the main domain name.

Just my tuppence

Hope this helps
Paul
