All you ever need to build traffic is in the various HQs of Solo Build It! (other traffic-related topics in DAY 9 of the AG, see those forums below, too). Gotta great idea or a question that's not covered elsewhere? For example, even solopreneurs can start their own affiliate programs to build traffic and income - need help with that? This is the right spot for you.

This thread provides answers to commonly asked questions in this forum. It's the first place to check if you have a question which you feel just may have "happened before." Because it's "read-only," it's locked.

I hope you find it helpful. :-)

Questions about Alexa seeming "off" have come up a couple of times in this forum in the last two days. The key point to remember about Alexa is that you don't check it to "verify" your traffic. After all, you KNOW your traffic stats. Alexa is useful for so many big picture reasons.

But if you happen to be wondering why you either have high traffic and a poor Alexa ranking, or vice-versa, please see...

And this article explains more about Alexa...

All the best,
Ken

P.S. In both cases of "Alexa scatter" above, we have to drop a site from results.sitesell.com. I explained that recently in another post, to this effect...

We cut sites (from results.sitesell.com) with great Alexa rankings (say 250,000 or less), but that didn't have the REAL traffic to back it up -- statistical sampling error. And vice-versa -- I lose a lot of superb sites with high traffic (1,000 visitors per day and up) but Alexa counts just out of range (600,000 or so). Those really hurt, because they deserve to be in, but results.sitesell.com is also a marketing page, so we have to exclude those high-performers, too. Sooner or later, Alexa seems to catch up to most sites, so maybe they'll make it into the next round.
